Due Next Week (3/5)

For next week, write your rough draft of the career essay.
Do the final draft of the "Dear One" paragraph.
Do the grammar homework from Text and Contexts as listed in the schedule (Subordinators)
Read the article by Reich on p.89, if you have not already done so.
Begin the Run-together sentence handout.

Criteria for Paragraph:
Your paragraph should have:
*An introductory sentence with the title of the article and the author.
*A topic or thesis sentence giving 2-3 reasons why the author finds satisfaction in being a nurse.
*At least one example from the article to back up each reason you give in your thesis sentence.
*A sentence summing up the content of your paragraph.
